Andrew Moorman (“AMO”) was born in San Francisco then raised in a small Maryland county with his two older siblings. He struggled with ADHD, dyslexia, bad influences, and getting kicked out of school. Those experiences made him feel like the black sheep of the family, but at the age of 12 he found his creative outlet. At first it was just poetry, but by the age of 14 he was reading dictionaries in study halls just to learn more words for his rap lyrics. Inspired by artists like Kendrick Lamar whose words painted a picture for a young Andrew, AMO started to evolve, beginning to record his own music at the young age of 16.
